This Privacy Policy explains how xQUery ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit https://xquery.social, join the waitlist, or use the xQUery Chrome extension (collectively, the "Service").

xQUery is a Chrome extension for X (Twitter) that surfaces token intelligence, on-chain and social profile data, and SOL transfer capabilities directly on your feed. This policy is designed to reflect how that product works.

1. Information We Collect

Waitlist & website

When you join the waitlist on our website, we may collect:

Email address
X (Twitter) username
Timestamp of your submission

If you sign up with an email address, we send a confirmation email through our email provider. We do not require both email and username — you may provide one or the other.

Chrome extension

When you install and use the xQUery extension on x.com, the Service may process:

Public X (Twitter) content — tweets, replies, and profile information visible on pages you visit, including contract addresses and public profile metadata used to power Chart on Feed and Data Intelligent
Verification data — information you submit to verify your X account and link it to xQUery
Wallet information — public wallet addresses you connect and on-chain data associated with those addresses (such as SOL balance) retrieved from blockchain networks and data providers
Transfer activity — when you use Send SOL, transaction details are recorded on the Solana blockchain and are public by nature
Technical data — extension version, browser type, error logs, and basic usage signals needed to operate, debug, and improve the Service

We do not ask for or store your private keys or seed phrases. Wallet interactions are handled through your chosen wallet provider.

Automatically collected on the website

Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, referring URL, pages viewed)
Cookies or similar technologies used for basic site functionality and analytics

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

Operate the website and Chrome extension
Manage the early-access waitlist and notify you about availability
Send waitlist confirmation and product update emails
Display charts, market data, and token metadata on hover (Chart on Feed)
Surface on-chain balances and public X profile signals (Data Intelligent)
Verify X accounts and enable Send SOL to recognized profiles
Prevent fraud, abuse, impersonation, and security incidents

We do not use your data to train third-party AI models.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only in these circumstances:

Service providers — hosting, database, email delivery, analytics, and infrastructure partners that process data on our behalf under contractual obligations
Blockchain networks — SOL transfers are broadcast to the Solana network and become publicly visible on-chain
Third-party data sources — market data, blockchain indexers, and public social data providers used to render charts and intelligence panels
Legal requirements — when required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security
Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice where required by law

4. Data Storage & Security

Waitlist data is stored in a secured cloud database. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Blockchain transactions and public wallet addresses are inherently public and permanent. Information displayed from X (Twitter) reflects publicly available profile and post data.

5. Data Retention

We retain waitlist information until you request deletion or it is no longer needed for the purposes described in this policy. Extension-related logs and verification records are retained as long as necessary to provide the Service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. On-chain data cannot be deleted from public blockchains.

6. Your Choices & Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

Request access to personal information we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate information
Request deletion of waitlist or account-related data we control
Opt out of non-essential marketing emails
Withdraw wallet connection or uninstall the extension at any time
